API Terms

Last updated 16 June 2026

These API Terms govern use of the YieldMeister Rates API, operated by Dutchcode B.V. (KVK 90452151, Den Dungen, the Netherlands). They are in addition to our general Terms of Service. By generating an API key or calling the API you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use the API.

Licence

Subject to these terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to retrieve the rate data via the API and use it within your own applications, products and analyses. We may change, version or withdraw the API at any time; material changes will carry a new "last updated" date.

Acceptable use

Stay within your plan's request limits; do not circumvent rate limits, keys or access controls; do not use the API in a way that degrades the service for others. One key per customer unless agreed otherwise. We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms or threatens the service's stability.

Restrictions

You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the dataset as a standalone product or as a substitute for the API, and you may not present the data so as to imply that YieldMeister, or any listed provider, endorses or is affiliated with you. Bulk redistribution requires a separate written licence.

Source data & attribution

The data is compiled by YieldMeister from official open-data feeds (e.g. the ECB, Deutsche Bundesbank and national debt agencies) and from public provider sources. The underlying rate figures are facts that remain attributable to their providers, and several benchmark series are also available free of charge from the original source. Where you display the data to end users, a visible attribution to YieldMeister (and a link to the provider where practical) is required.

No warranty — provided "as is"

The API and data are provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Rates may be delayed, stale or wrong. The data is information only and is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for your own use of the data and for your end users. You must perform your own regulatory, licensing and compliance checks for your use case and jurisdiction, must not present the data as the sole basis for a financial decision, and should surface a "verify with the provider" caveat to your users. You will indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the data in breach of these terms.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss arising from reliance on the data. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the API in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100 if you use a free key. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including intent or gross negligence).

Suspension & termination

You may stop using the API at any time and cancel a paid plan from your account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, or risk to the service. On termination your licence ends and you must stop using the data, save for copies already lawfully delivered to your end users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands; disputes go to the competent court where Dutchcode B.V. has its registered office, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
